Côtes du Rhône - Domaine les Teyssonnières

Production area :
This wine is made with grapes from a 1 - hectare vineyard at Vacqueras.

Geology :
Old alluvial soil containing broken pebbles.

Varieties :
A balance between the two main Rhône Valley varieties :
50 % Grenache and 50 % Syrah.

Vinification :
Picking is carried out by hand with sorting of the grapes in the vineyard and at the winery. Classic tank maceration, blending of free-run and press (hydraulic) juice. Temperature controlled during vinification.

Maturation :
Racking after malolactic fermentation. Bottling after maturation for 8 months in ours cellars.

Main organoleptic features :
Dark red in colour, its nose displays aromas of woodland fruits, bitter cherries and spicy notes. It is well-balanced, with pleasant fruit in the mouth and round, smooth tannin and can therefore be drunk immediately or kept for two or three years.

Serving recommendations :
Serve at 17°C. An excellent accompaniment for pultry and delicatessen.
