Domaine les Teyssonnieres - The soil

Our vineyard enjoys a Mediterranean climate dominated by the sun and mistral (NorthWind).
Locatedat the foot of Montmirail, massive steep, through which breezes temper the rising and falling temperature peaks.

Exposure west of our area gives perfect ventilation, avoid excessive heat of the summer and gives our wines finesse and acidity that make wines of excellent care.
Sandy clay soils by their high permeability mitigate erosion storm water and allow quick soak plots.
This helps to store overnight, solaractivity to prolong vegetative vines

Our vineyard is composed o f13 varieties, but it's our Grenache (sometime old) present on the field who express them selves in all their fullness on this soil.
Indeed limiting sun shine in the morning, the Dentelles significantly increase thematurity of Grenache, who needs to express slowat best.
Grenach has provided our wines:the body, tannins.and any expression of our terroir.
